    Hummy Hamilton flute review

    This flute is quieter than the Tony Dixon, but its tone is rich and resonant. It's perfect-tuned, with a balanced pitch. It's durable and requires little maintenance. Its downside is that the flute can't be disassembled; the aluminum tube is intact. When fully inserted, the tube was tuned to the reference

    Very sturdy attractive case

    The case is almost perfect. It needs two straps, one on each end, to hold the whistles into the top of the case, instead of only one in the middle. The Wild Irish whistle came with its own soft case, and I have to use that inside the flute case to keep the whistle from banging into the flute. The combination

    Blackwood whistle.

    Love the blackwood whistle. I particularly like the beautiful rich tone and allows fast and accurate fingering, with no squeaks, due to the recessed holes. I hope to have many a session with this lovely instrument.

    High Quality and Great Sound!

    I got this whistle as part of a larger purchase and have had nothing but fun with it. I take it to some traditional Irish sessions in my area. It sounds great and is very high quality. I now want to buy more in different keys.
