Electro Vs Electric

An electro acoustic violin offers the best of both worlds. You can use it as a traditional fiddle or violin to play Irish trad or classical. Or you can plug it in to try out loop pedals and other special effects, so you can experiment with reverb and distortion to explore dance, electronica and left of field rock and pop. A straight up electric instrument is silent when not plugged in.
