Here's What Renowned Musician Billy Sutton Has To Say:

Superior Craftsmanship and Durability

At McNeela, we take great pride in the high grade materials we use in our instruments, especially in this one, which features a spruce top with flamed maple sides and back, and an ebony fretboard and bridge to boot. The result is an instrument that feels as good as it looks, designed for comfort and built to last. Its vibrant red finish makes a stunning visual statement that’s designed to reflect the player’s musical passion.

Quality Counts

We believe that high quality instruments are truly a better investment for any musician. At McNeela, we guarantee that all of our instruments are made from the highest quality materials and with the necessary passion to ensure longevity and pristine sound from all of our traditional Irish instruments.

F-Hole Mandolins vs Oval Hole Mandolins

Aside from the aesthetical differences, F-hole mandolins will usually have a brighter shimmery tone with more volume and a sharper attack in comparison to their oval hole counterparts. As a result, F-hole mandolins tend to offer a more percussive sound.

However, the higher the craftsmanship is, the less differences in sound quality are.

The McNeela Guarantee

Before our products reach your hands, we meticulously test them for durability and craftsmanship to ensure you receive only the best. This commitment to quality is why we offer a 30-day try-at-home guarantee, letting you experience our high standards firsthand. If our product doesn’t meet your expectations within 30 days, returning it is hassle-free, and our dedicated aftercare service is always available to assist with any questions or needs.
